TREASURE was presented in the seminar “The path to a more renewable energy sector”.
On 1 st June, our colleague Abel Ortego Bielsa from Instituto Universitario de Investigación Mixto CIRCE – Universidad de Zaragoza was at the seminar “The path to a more renewable energy sector” organized by the Fundación Repsol and Mondragon Unibertsitatea to analyse the situation, evolution and challenges of renewable energies in Spain.
The webinar was from 10 to 12 a.m and was attended by more than 500 people. Over the two hours, lecturers from the University of Mondragon and specialists in the field tackled the different types of renewable energies and circular technological challenges, as well as the energy transition. The day concluded with a panel of experts entitled: “The role of renewable energies in the challenge of the energy transition”.
Our colleague Abel Ortego Bielsa from Instituto Universitario de Investigación Mixto CIRCE – Universidad de Zaragoza explained the challenges regarding raw materials and how the lessons learned in TREASURE in the field of circular economy can be also applied to the renewable sector.
