From 27th to 29th June 2022, UNIVAQ participated in different meetings with companies in the recycling sector, distribution of brochures of ‘EIT Raw Materials’ conference which took place in Mövenpick Hotel Berlin in Germany.

Over three days, technical experts from industry and academia were gather to debate the technological advancements and business opportunities to explore industry needs in terms of innovation and education, identify partner interests, and promote matchmaking and consortia formation for project proposal submission.

The EIT RawMaterials Expert Forum brings together Europe’s experts in innovation and education, from industry, research organisations, and universities. They explore innovative technologies and education to meet the challenges and opportunities that come with emerging markets. The target is to drive increased economic, environmental and social sustainability to society, and to make Europe strategically more autonomous.

The Expert Forum is structured around three strategic frameworks or ‘Lighthouses‘: Responsible Sourcing, Sustainable Materials, and Circular Societies. Each was focus on specific parts of key industrial value chains, i.e., Batteries, Magnets and Motors, Fuel Cells, Photovoltaic Panels, Electronics, and Lightweight Design.
